Dr George has been in business for many years and works as a Psychotherapist & Psychotraumatologist, both in the Lifescript Clinic of Harley Street, W.1. London and in Central Milton Keynes area, with much experience in Trauma work in recent years and success in various businesses over many years,

His consistency is shown in motivational & teaching skills; in Aircraft Engineering (Ex-RAF) & later in Vehicle Diagnostics, also Financial Services, Experience also in Pastoral / Clergy Training, currently at an executive level. He is presently a project manager running several charitable not-for-profit service organisations.

Heather Pretty

EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE CHAIR

Previous years of experience as a Teacher and also specialising as an NVQ Assessor.

Dr Heather brings a wealth of teaching skills and student care.

Heather is Accredited by CPFI and has a Level 5 Diploma in Counselling and is also an NLP Master Practitioner.

Heather also has her own Counselling practice in Bedford and has previously helped as a volunteer at ‘BUS-STOP Drop-In & Counselling Service Ltd’ facility in CMK.

Yoly Booty
 

Psychotherapist

Dr Yoly is a Qualified Psychotherapist DMIn, (hon). Ba,. She has extensive experience as a University Tutor as Professor of English, having a Ba degree Health and Nutrition with HE Diplomas in IT Computer Skills and another in Accounting. Yoly therefore plays an important part in the administration and assisting as a volunteer in various peer groups in Convergence Psychotherapy.

She has had a great deal of experience in Student Services and recruiting previously, both as monitor / consultant / volunteer assistant facilitator in peer group sessions and as a Manager and practitioner in the separate authorised placement organisation for
’NewStart Counselling Service’ at our private clinic practice in Milton Keynes.

Anne Woodcock

HEAD OF ART THERAPY

A very experienced teacher, Anne is keen to share her love of Arts in Therapy. She is registered with the Health Professions Council (HPC) and is member of the British Association of Art Therapists (BAAT).

She has training and experience in; Mentalization Based Therapy, Working with Children and Adolescents, Supervision, Shamanic Counselling, Regression Therapy, Spiritual Healing, Meditation and Visualisation. She is excited about Convergence.

Elaine Maries

EXECUTIVE ETHICS & COMPLAINTS OFFICER

Rev Dcn Elaine brings a wealth of knowledge to the College and holds a Level 5 Advanced Diploma and plays a supporting role to the Director George Booty as Supervisor in the BUS-STOP Authorised placement service in Cenral Milton Keynes.

Elaine has administration skills which enhance the smooth running of the paperwork and records in Supervision and Ethics maintainance.

Elaine is Snr Supervisor at a Drop-In & Counselling Service locally, she has retired as a counsellor and in her work as an Assistant Tutor and formerly Assistant Manager at NewStart Drop-In & Counselling Service Facility for the general public in CMK.

We hold Elaine in high regard as Ethics and Complaints Officer.
